Brief Overview or Introduction

Summary: This preview is of a pre-built Divi template on WordPress for solar distribution board company Solarboard.

Project goals: Design a one-pager, responsive, brand appropriate website for Solarboard that features their products and product benefits. 

Client: EverSolar.

Problem: The Client didn’t have a brand manual for Solarboard, only a logo, brand colours and a typeface.

Role

Responsibilities: Riaan’s responsibilities as the Designer was to extend the author’s logo design, brand colours and typeface into a fully-fledged website.

Process & Development

Research: The initial steps involved researching the available templates that can suit Solarboard’s brand.

Conceptualisation: The initial concept was presented as a live website with placeholder content.

Iterations: In the first iteration the Client provided content to replace the placeholder content.

Final Solution/Design: In the final web design the Client’s content was in place and the website was functional as mobile, tablet, and desktop site.

Tools & Technologies Used: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, WordPress, and Divi.
